These guys are a very light classic red tabby, they do lighten with age and I expect them to end up the same color as daddy!
Slate is TICA registered, microchipped , vaccinated appropriately to date and very well socialized. 2000,Wyatt is a big boy, he is going through is long lean phase at the time so he is not super photogenic right now but he has wonderful big paws and mainecoon ears.
Wyatt's favorite past time is tumbling with his sister Emma Valentine that we are keeping and eating! The boy has an appetite!
Kitten purchase agreement, please sign and return
You may return to bullanranch@gmail.com or you may print, take a picture and send to 530-514-3249, or a copy will be signed when the buyer takes possession of the kitten.
IF you have fallen in love with a kitten and that is the only kitten you will be happy with, I highly suggest a $500 deposit to hold your kitten. Why? When you place a deposit that particular kitten is held for you. If you come to meet your kitten and change your mind, you can change kittens, however if your heart is set on one kitten and you decide that you don't want to send a deposit, there is no guarantee your kitty will be here when you arrive.
The rest is due when you come to pick up your kitten or three days before your kitten is transported. Transport/delivery fees are extra and paid to the person/company delivering your kitten.
You may make your deposit via PayPal (it protects you), Venmo, Zelle or a credit card. When you come to pick up your kitten in person you must bring cash because if for any reason your payment is placed on hold you may not take your kitten home.
Our breeding stock is DNA tested and continually monitored for heart and hip issues along with annual blood panels. If we notice any slight deviation from the normal the cats go to the vet. Before your kitten leaves it is evaluated by a veterinarian and it leaves healthy or it doesn't leave.
These gentle giants are like any other animal, they do need time to adjust to their new home and new family. For the first few days its important to give your kitten an area where it cannot be approached by hyper puppies that are excited to meet them, they will go into a longer adjustment time and the stress is too much for their immune system. Leave them alone if they want to be alone, sit near them and let them hear you. Leave them a litter box (we use pine pellets), water and their food. Let them decide when its time to start exploring and introduce other pets slowly.
Its not uncommon for the kittens to not eat for a few days, we prefer they didn't but its not a reason to panic, stay in touch with us and your vet.
If your kitten is seen by a veterinarian and deemed not healthy within the first 72 hours, you may return the kitten for another kitten. If a kitten is not available you will be placed on our waitlist for the next litter.
We feel that you can best make the decision if your cat lives indoors or outdoors. Many breeders feel that Maine Coons should be indoor 100% of the time, our breeders/kittens are with access to an outdoor catio! Our retired cats are spayed/neutered and live outdoors/indoors at their own choice but they do not enter our cattery again. Maine Coons originated in Maine and were bred to be farm cats and great rodent control, they love the outdoors. You will often see our retired breeders or cats that didn't make it through our intense pre breeding tests, outside roaming. They like to hang out down by our creek, with our dog and can be seen taking rides on our golf carts as we do daily chores.
Outdoor cats are exposed to so many more diseases, parasites and viruses so therefore outdoor cats run a much higher risk of getting ill, please keep this in mind. However, we will not tell you how to raise your cat/kitten, we are friendly, open to communicate at anytime and will help as much as well can.
Have questions or want to schedule a visit? Contact us today and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. We're always happy to hear from fellow Maine Coon Lovers 530-514-3249 or 530-999-1732
